The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Corporate Services Directorate - Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO) - Business Solutions Department (BSD) - Finance Division (FD) - Back Office Debt & Payment Unit (BODP) and Collateral and Market Data Management Unit at its headquarters in Luxembourg, 2 (Senior) Package Implementation Project Managers* These are full-time positions at grade 5/6.
The term of this contract will be 4 years.
Panel interviews are anticipated in August.
The EIB offers fixed-term contracts of up to a maximum of 6 years, according to business needs, with a possibility to convert to a permanent contract, subject to organisational requirements and individual performance.

You will drive the development, implementation, maintenance and support of critical IT software solutions in the finance domain, in particular the Commercial Lending Management module of the ION/Wallstreet Suite software or the Market Data Management by providing expertise on business requirement analysis, technical solution design, software configuration and develop customer specific components to meet the digitalization, security and regulatory needs of the organisation.

University degree preferably in computer science
At least 5 years’ of relevant professional experience in delivering IT projects in a finance environment
Experience with implementation of one or more banking packages such as Murex, ION WallStreet, FIS, Calypso, or Market Data Management systems like Golden Source, Alveo, Neoxam, Markit.
Very good understanding of software lifecycle including the requirements gathering, design, development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise information management systems
Good knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices, including agile methodologies
Background in programming and scripting languages (Unix shell, SQL, Python, Java) and DBMS Systems (Oracle and/or Sybase) will be considered an advantage
Knowledge and interest in financial instruments (such as bonds, derivatives, repos, loans) and business processes (such as post-trade processing) would be an advantage
Excellent command of English and/or French (*). Knowledge of a third EU language would be an advantage.
