One (1) Research Assistant Position (part time) [Ref # ORZ-0219]
The research group of Plant Molecular Biology of IMBB under the European Program H2020-MSCA-RISE-2019 entitled PANTHEON, (Program Coordinator Prof. Panagiotis N. Moschou) invites applications for one (1) Research Assistant (part-time) to assist on the organization and management of the PANTHEON Project and on the experimental Raman, FT-IR and UV/VIS spectroscopy of biological materials.
The Research assistant is expected to assist the project in:
- Advise partners and assist them on the secondment preparations;
- Ensure that all files are updated in the file server;
- Contribute on the periodic, technical and final scientific reports and submitting them to the EU;
- Assist with issuing the administrative/financial reports and submitting them to the EU;
- Assist in the organization of Annual meetings;
- Assist in the project dissemination and ensure that the project website is updated;
- Assist in the laboratory experiments, measurements and data analysis;
- BSc in Materials Science, Chemistry or Biology (30%)
- MSc in Materials Science, Chemistry or Biology (30%)
- Experience in the position topic (40%)
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and Greek language
Contract Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension according to the project needs
Total budget: 1.250,00 € monthly cost (incl. tax and social security)
Envisaged starting date: 1 July 2020

Applications will be evaluated by a three-member evaluation committee. In case of interview procedure, candidates will be invited to participate in person or teleconference.
The announcement of the results will be posted on the website of FORTH-IMBB.
This publication confers the right to object to the results within 5 working days of the date of the results announcement.
The selected candidates will be notified personally regarding the success of his/her application and will be requested to submit certified copies of his/her degrees. In the event that the documents submitted to not agree with the original application the candidate will be dismissed.
